Rabbi Hisdai Winer's lesson archive

Hundreds of Torah and Chassidut lessons — the weekly parasha, festivals, books studied in order and the inner dimension of Torah — on one site built as a volunteer project: a player with speed control, download, offline listening, source sheets, and automatic distribution to Spotify and every podcast app. For listeners who just want to press play. The lessons and the site are in Hebrew.

What is on the site

Series, not a pile

Weekly parasha and Shabbat · festivals (a series per festival) · books studied in order · the inner dimension of Torah · more lessons. Every series is its own page, with its own RSS feed for anyone who wants to study a whole book in order.

A player that respects the listener

Speed control, resume where you stopped, download the file, and save for offline listening on the road. No sign-up.

Source sheets

For lessons that have a source sheet, the PDF is shown next to the player — to learn with the rabbi, not just listen.

Search

Search by lesson title and description, across the whole archive.

An app without a store

The site installs itself to the home screen (PWA) on phone and desktop — the same archive, without going through an app store.

A live podcast channel

Every new lesson reaches Spotify and every podcast app automatically through an RSS feed — a main channel, and a separate feed per series.

What is special — for whoever runs it

What we are proudest of on this site is not what the listener sees but what the rabbi does not have to do. Uploading a new lesson is one tap from the phone: share the recording from the voice recorder to the admin app, add a title and a series — and the lesson is published that instant on the site, in the main feed, in the series feed, and on Spotify. A source sheet? Share the PDF the same way and it is attached to the lesson.

  • One source of truth. Audio, catalogue and feeds all derive from the same place — there are no two copies to keep in sync.
  • A new series from the admin screen — created instantly on the site with its own RSS feed; adding it to Spotify as a separate podcast is pasting one address.
  • Password-protected series for lessons meant for a closed group — not in search, not in the podcast.
  • Statistics for the admin — visits and plays per lesson, across all platforms.
  • The archive was recovered. More than a hundred episodes from the old podcast channel plus about a hundred lessons scattered across WhatsApp groups were gathered, sorted into series and uploaded.

Who it is for

Anyone who learns with Rabbi Hisdai — in the yeshiva, in the community or from afar — and wants all the lessons in one place, without searching through groups. And anyone looking for a lesson on a parasha, a festival or a particular book: the series are arranged exactly for that.
